So what’s new in Sun City? We are happy to announce that in 2019 two new museums were opened in Šiauliai . So now we have 22 unique museums and we are willing to have some more in the near future!
Although, almost the whole city is under reconstruction Šiauliai were able to finish The central square of the city. So the biggest winter celebrations and the main Christmas tree was shining in that square.
Can you believe that the largest animal sculpture in Lithuania, the Iron Fox – is 10 years old?! 10 years all the tourist come to check on that sculpture, take pictures or even leave the lock (even though it’s illegal). Area around Iron Fox is very welcoming to spend your freetime – have a picnic, play games or just walk around the Talkša lake.
What’s for lunch? Cepelinai! In Šiauliai we have some good place to have this delicious meal and what is more – you can have a lesson how to make them at home! With meat or with curd, with sour cream or bacon – you choose. If this traditional Lithuanian meal is too heavy for you, try beer soup! No worries – you won’t get drunk.
