Located on the bank of the Neris River in the centre of Vilnius, with a spectacular view of Gediminas Castle, River Town is a restaurant that embraces the concept of quality seasonal food. The restaurant’s kitchen is jointly managed by Šarūnas and Darius, two experienced chefs and members of the Lithuanian Chefs’ Association. The River Town menu varies seasonally because, according to Šarūnas and Darius, fresh produce from the current season can best bring out the flavour and character of dishes. The chefs are especially proud to invite their guests to try the vitello tonnato, a traditional Italian appetizer of veal and tuna sauce, the USDA Prime aged beef entrecote, and the fresh sole, which, together with the Canadian scallops, the Dzūkian beef tenderloin chop, the octopus with roasted pepper (pancetta) sauce and sweet Belgian chocolate fondant as well as the Pavlova meringue dessert, have already become restaurant hits.
