Grūto parkas is something unique, it’s the only theme park of its kind in Lithuania. While visiting the park you will find out about the difficult times for Lithuania – the Soviet occupation. The symbols of this period, the monumentalism and the arranged exposition are considered to be a unique phenomenon in the world. An exposition of dismantled Soviet-era monuments installed under the open sky will allow you to feel the spirit of that period, and you will be able to taste “Soviet” dishes and drinks in the on-site café. While adults go down a memory lane, the young visitors that come with their parents can spend their time with the animals at the zoo located here.
