Kaunas District Museum is established in Raudondvaris manor, one of the most impressive monuments of the Renaissance architecture in Lithuania. In the museum you can find a memorial exposition of the composer Juozas Naujalis, which will familiarize you with composer’s life, work and public activities. Here you will also find an exhibition of photographs, made by the owner of Raudondvaris manor, the count Benedykt Henryk Tyszkiewicz, who was extremely fond of photography and travelling. In Kaunas District Museum you will also find exhibitions of modern art as well as an impressive piece af art – a glass room.
